30 June 2011: Renz Julian & Demolition Men - Alphabet Hustle

Renz Julian is a West Oakland rapper known for his "Armageddon" solo that dropped in 2009 and was reviewed by BayUndaground.com staff. He's now out with a brand new mixtape titled "Alphabet Hustle" that's been done in collaboration with Demolition Men. You'll hear guest appearances by J Stalin, Kaz Kyzah, Fed-X, Balance & AG The Chief. Production was handled by Renz Julian himself. 30 June 2011: The Minds Of Psychos, Killers And Gangsters

BayUndaground.com readers should already be familiar with Le Grand representative Smiley aka Sykotik as he dropped his debut compilation in May. What's more, we've reviewed the "Talez From The Morgue" (read the article) and conducted the interview with Smiley. Right now we're back with some fresh info on Smiley's sophomore compilation. The 2nd release from this horrorcore artist will be called "The Minds Of Psychos, Killers And Gangsters" and will feature 10 horrorcore and 10 homeboy tracks. As of now we know it will include performances by Big Tone, Tito B, Big Oso Loc, Skarekrow, Smiley, Brothaz Grimm, Redrum, Lefty, Dosia Demon, Valatiel, Goph, G-Macc, Troll, Mr. G, Akazie, Rob Rize and more. 30 June 2011: Yantz - Playin 4 Keepz

Yantz is a Salinas homeboy representative that has been featured on BayUndaground.com numerous times. He's been a part of Salineros group that dropped two albums and worked with Lonely Boy on their duet cd called "Hood Hoggs". You can check out the reviews of Yantz previous projects (read the articles). We have also announced that he'll be a part of "Talez From Tha N" cd next to Big Oso Loc, Lil Teck and Ceelow. That's not all, as this 831 rapper is also aiming for the solo endeavor that will be titled "Playin 4 Keepz" and should be out within the next few months. 30 June 2011: Mac Dre - Da Treasure

There has been a whole bunch of albums from Mac Dre that featured many recycled or remixed songs and eventually did not satisfy the fan base, but this one looks different. "Da Treasure" will be a combo project that will include an EP cd with never heard songs from Andre and a DVD with never seen footage from him and the Thizz camp. It will be released under Thizz Ent. on July 17th. We'll be definitely back with more info.


30 June 2011: Lee Majors & Tongue Da Mac - Bags Of Kush, Bottles Of Lean

Back in May we wrote about the new duet album from Oakland rapper Lee Majors and Mendocino County (707 area code) representative Tongue Da Mac. So far their joint cd "Bags Of Kush, Bottles Of Lean" was only available in digitals, yet now you can also grab a hard copy at RapBay. Be on the lookout for a brand new solo album by Sacramento representative N-Pire Da Great. He's coming out with the "Everybody Hates Nash" project by the end of July. N-Pire has just dropped the new video for the title track. You can watch it below:

30 June 2011: The Brother-Hood and 7 Digit Boyz presents Team Monstars (free)

"Team Monstars" is a brand new project brought by two Bay Area groups: The Brother-Hood and 7 Digit Boyz. The Brother-Hood is a Kink City (831) based trio made of Mayne, Wet Money E & Ro, while 7 Digit Boyz is an Oakland duet made of Haywood and Playdoh, who represent new movement: krunkphy - the combination of krunk and hyphy music. 29 June 2011: Swinla - City Of Torture: Swinz World

San Francisco Mission District representative and Goodfelonz member Swinla is back in the rap game with the brand new solo album. "City Of Torture: Swinz World" was scheduled for June, yet it will be officially out on July 5th. BayUndaground staff managed to get the final tracklist straight from Swinla and it says the cd will feature 22 tracks with the whole bunch of features like Redeyez, Mr. Kee, Black C, Telly Mac, The Jacka, Tay Assassin, Messy Marv, K-Loc, Young Dunn and more. 29 June 2011: Nu'Sense presents Lyrically Connected compilation

A few months ago BayUndaground staff wrote about the upcoming homeboy compilation called "Lyrically Connected" that was scheduled to drop on June 16th. We've talked with Pittsburg artist Nu'Sense who's presenting the project and unfortunately he told us that due to technical difficulties with studio equipment the album will be delayed until 2012, probably the same date - June 16th. If you're thirsty for some songs off this album you can listen to three cuts on SoundCloud website, including "Broke Hoe's" by Nu'Sense, "Addicted 2 The Game" with Nu'Sense, Troublez & Big Chuco and "The Struggle" with Nu'Sense, Rukus, Don Changolini 4000 and Young Mountain. Back in 2010 BayUndaground.com informed you about the collabo album from rapper Beeda Weeda and producer DJ Fresh that was recorded a few years ago, but never released. Well, it was held up for another year and now there is some new information about it. Not much though, but from what we know it should be finally out this Summer. "Beaches And Bridges" has not yet been released, yet there is already a second part scheduled for September 30th. As of now there's not much official information about it. What we do know is that 2Treal Music Group will have it hosted by Oakland representative Lil Rue. It will be subtitled "Bo Music" and should be available both in digitals as well as regular hard copies.

If you haven't heard about recent endeavors by Oakland artists V-White (of Delinquents) and The Politician then you gotta stop sleeping. This duet has already released 3 joint collabos, including the 2010 "Streets Can Vouch" and "Stimulus Package". The fourth installment of their joint labor is scheduled to be released on July 5th. Rux is a Vallejo representative and you could already hear his debut album "Flapjack Stack'n Wit' Rubber Bands And Syrup" from 2007. This artist has just released a free-for-download mixtape entitled "Rap Dollar". In fact it is more of a street album, because the whole production seems to be original. 21 June 2011: Evenodds - The Revision

You should already be familiar with the San Francisco duet called Evenodds as they've been lacing rap scene with hot beats, clean videos and not your average vocal delivery. BayUndaground staff even had an opportunity to review their 2010 release called "Grind House" (read the article). D.E.A. and Money Alwayz will strike again with the official project entitled "The Revision" that will hit the streets on July 12th. We already know that it will include an anthem called "Like My Style" that features another well done video. Watch it below:

21 June 2011: Nor Cal Hot Boyz - self titled

Good news for all homeboy rap fans. BayUndaground.com hooked up with Jamez Da Youngsta - the man responsible for the fresh off the press release by Nor Cal Hot Boyz. These Watsonville squad made of Jamez Da Youngsta, Case, Lil Soldier & Sneaky brought its collabo project in the end of May. Until recently the cd was only available in digitals via group's official website. Now it is also sold out of trunk in hard copies. 21 June 2011: Yung Fya - The Cities On Fya

BayUndaground.com is back with some new information from Richmond representative Yung Fya. You should remember him from 2005 compilation called "Bay Area Blackout" that we even had a chance to review (read the article). In March 2011 Yung Fya dropped a digital version (buy it on iTunes) of his new solo entitled "The Cities On Fya". A few days ago hard copies were delivered to Tower and Amazon online spots, yet as we've found out these are limited cds from the first pressing. Due to the tragic fact of the artist daughter's death the inner graphics were changed and the final, second pressing will be released officially very soon.

The project includes 19 tracks out of which the majority are solos, although you will hear a few guest appearances by Keak Da Sneak, V. Jones, Myko The Syko and Unseen. What is more Yung Fya is already working on another solo joint that will feature many well known northern California emcees like E-40, B-Legit, San Quinn, X-Raided, Rydah J. Klyde, Keak Da Sneak, JT The Bigga Figga, C-Dubb, Sleepdank, Young Droop and many more. We'll be back soon with the cover and more info on it. 21 June 2011: Evaclear presents Made From Scratch

We're back again with more info on the locations selling the brand new compilation project called "Made From Scratch" presented by Evaclear. Except for RapBay the cd is also available at Amoebas, Rasputins and Dimple Records in Sacramento. iTunes should have it by June 28th.

Evaclear was born in San Francisco, now resides in Daly City and was responsible for the whole production on the hereby project. Vocals were hosted by recognizable Bay Area names like San Quinn, Big Rich, Equipto, Evenodds, Balance, J. 21 June 2011: Ghambit - Legend In The Making

Ghambit is an up-and-coming rapper out of Watsonville in the 831 area code. He's been featured on the freshly released project by Nor Cal Hotboyz presented by Jamez Da Youngsta. Ghambit is now working on a debut solo album that will be called "Legend In The Making". The whole production will be delivered by DJ Pumba of Megaslap Productions. You'll hear guest appearances by Equipto, Sincere, Oh Blimey and more. We already know that the album will include a single called "See The Light" that will also be a theme song to a movie entitled "Trophy" starring Michael Madsen, Robert Miano, Michael Masini, Eric Roberts & rappers Deebo and Ya Boy. BayUndaground.com has found out that September 20th will bring another installment of "The Tonite Show" series with DJ Fresh. The one with T-Nutty will be called "Chanell 24st" and from what we know it will include a track with Brotha Lynch Hung that ends up their recent disagreements. We finally have a chance to put our hands on the brand new compilation project called "Made From Scratch" presented by Evaclear. The cd is now available at RapBay. 07 June 2011: The Hit-Men - By Any Means

Bay Area rap fans probably remember the Sunnyvale, Ca group by the name of II Sicc that released two classic albums "Judgement Day" and "Talez From The Sicc". Back then this duo consisted of J-Locc and Lil Moe. Now these people are known under different names: Gemstone and Main 1. Topcat aka T.C. joined them and the whole trio now records as The Hit-Men.

Watch out for their joint album "By Any Means" to be officially released any day now. We know the project will feature 19 tracks with only two guest verses by Ruel and Mr. Maki. Production will be handled mainly by The Diaz Brothers, but also by Battlecat, V-Dubb, Gemstone, Larry K and Peter Parker. You can already buy Hit-Men's record via their ReverbNation page. There's finally some official information about the solo album by the northern Cali Latin rap veteran named Tokztero. He is known for a couple of unofficial releases including "Nortecalifaholic", but none of them were pressed or available at stores. So technically the new one - "RidiN 4 The Cause" - is his debut solo cd. It will be presented by Lil Coner and Gato Mas Loco and is currently labeled as "coming soon".
